Project Description

The project involved working with a team to create a webpage promoting Fanshawe College's Interactive Media Design Industry Night, showcasing event details and student work. We focused on building an engaging, multimedia-rich, and responsive platform while effectively managing team tasks.

Challenge

The main challenge in developing the Fanshawe Industry Night webpage was creating an engaging platform that showcased event details and promoted content. The project required integrating multimedia elements, such as videos and animations, while ensuring responsiveness across devices. Coordinating with a team of four and managing responsibilities also presented organizational challenges.

Solution

To address these challenges, we adopted a collaborative approach within "CMYK." Using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, we built a responsive webpage to display the event's information. GSAP integration enabled smooth scrolling and animations, improving user experience. We also added a promotional video to captivate the audience and convey the event's essence.

Process

outline objectives and assign roles. I led project management, overseeing timelines and communication. We created wireframes, collaborated on HTML and CSS coding, and crafted engaging content text. Video editing was done for a dynamic promotion reel, with continuous testing to ensure functionality and responsiveness throughout.
