The seven cosmetic project involves creating a complete brand identity, including logo design, branding guidelines, color theme, and product design. It also includes producing a double-spec magazine, social media ads, a commercial video, and banner advertisements to enhance the brand's presence across multiple platforms.
Challenge
The challenge of this project lies in working with an unknown product, requiring me to define its unique selling point and develop a compelling brand narrative that sets it apart in a competitive market. With limited product information, my task is to identify its key attributes and create a compelling brand story that resonates with the target audience by highlighting its unique value proposition.
Solution
To find a solution, I conducted market research to identify trends and consumer preferences, using a mind map to organize ideas and explore potential brand directions. I also brainstormed with my partner to refine the brand’s unique selling point and ensure it aligned with market needs. This collaborative approach helped shape a clear and compelling brand strategy.
Process
The project involved developing a complete brand identity, starting with logo design and extending to advertising materials. For the logo, I created several sketches and sought feedback from friends and peers through voting to choose the best design. From there, I crafted branding guidelines, established a color theme, and designed various advertising materials, including social media ads and commercial videos, to ensure a cohesive brand presence across all platforms.
